The idea is that when food is heated above 114 degrees, the enzymes in the food are lost. Enzymes are needed to digest food so our bodies have to dip into their own stores to digest cooked food.
This causes stress and eventual disease, extra fat, etc. So the raw food diet consists of eating most of your food raw, which helps digestion and frees up your liver to burn fat instead of trying to deal with processed, dead, denatured foods.

#3 Lemon Detox Diet

This is really a type of Hollywood fad diet that has been popularized by stars like Beyonce Knowles. It consists of you drinking a concoction of lemon juice, water, cayenne pepper and maple syrup all day. It's also called the 'Master Cleanse' diet.
While it does take off weight very fast, the ultra low calorie approach can cause detox symptoms like headaches and chills. Also you'll be fighting hunger and may even binge when you come off the diet.
